Hearty Beef Stew

This is a very basic beef stew. It’s easy, delicious and cheap!

INGREDIENTS
  1. pkg organic stewing beef

  2. 3 Tbsp butter

  3. 1 tsp Himalayan Sea Salt

  4. 2 yellow onions (chopped)

  5. 1/2 tsp pepper

  6. 1/4 c spelt flour

  7. 3 cloves of garlic (minced)

  8. 2 stalks of celery (minced)

  9. 4 c water

  10. 1/2 tsp dried rosemary (or 1 drop of YL’s Rosemary + EO)

  11. 1/2 tsp dried thyme (or 1 drop of YL’s Thyme EO)

  12.  4 carrots (peeled and chopped)

  13. 3 large potatoes (peeled and chopped)

DIRECTIONS
  1. Preheat stockpot on medium high heat.

  2. Add the butter to coat the bottom of the pot, then add the beef, onion, garlic and celery.

  3. As the beef browns add the salt and pepper and flour

  4. Reduce heat to medium-low and add remaining ingredients

  5. Cover and simmer for 1 and 1/2 hours

  6. Serve with sourdough biscuits
