August is a time of savouring the last of summer, and leaning into the beginning of the harvest season. It happens to be one of my favourite times of year where you can wrap up in warm woollens by a campfire in the evenings, after a day enjoying the sun at the beach.  Here in Canada it also happens to be the time of year where harvests from the garden are finally fruitful after months of nurturing seedlings and plants in the garden.
